Terms & Refunds

The short version: you get the files right away, you may use them in your own reviews and teaching, and if a file is faulty or isn’t as described I’ll fix it or refund you within 14 days.

What you’re buying

EVALA guides are digital downloads: a PDF guide, a one-page Fast Check, and a link to an online edition that opens in your browser. Nothing is shipped.

Delivery

You receive your files straight after payment. Please save them: download links may be limited.

How you may use a guide

You may use a guide for your own reviews and self-study, and in the teaching and critique sessions you run yourself, for example with students, clients or teammates. Please don’t resell it, share the files with people who haven’t bought them, or post them publicly.

Compatibility

The PDF guide adds up your score automatically in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. In other PDF viewers you can still fill it in, but it won’t total the score or show each score’s description. The online edition works on any device, and the Fast Check is a printable one-page summary.

Refunds

If a file is faulty, or isn’t what the page described, email lookagain@evalafeedback.com within 14 days of your purchase. I’ll fix the problem or refund you. Because a guide is a digital download that can’t be returned, I don’t offer refunds for a change of mind.

What the guides are

EVALA is a framework for giving structured feedback. Scores and notes are your own judgment, and the guides don’t promise any particular result. The ideas are drawn from published work and paraphrased; ideas are credited “after” their author.

Ownership

The guides and this website are © EVALA. Buying a guide gives you the right to use it as described above, not to own or redistribute the content.
