Who runs this site

evalafeedback.com is run by Stefan Pârlog, Romania, under the name EVALA. You can reach me at lookagain@evalafeedback.com about anything on this page.

What I collect, and why

• Your email address, if you ask for a free Fast Check or to be notified when Photography launches. The address is stored with MailerLite, the service I use to send email. I use your address to send you the Fast Check and, if you agreed to it, occasional emails about EVALA. If you ask to be notified about Photography, I use your address only to email you once when it launches. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask me to delete your address.
• Purchases. When you buy a guide, the payment is handled by the payment provider shown at checkout. I receive your name, your email address and what you bought, so that I can help if something goes wrong. I never see your card details.
• Emails you send me. I keep them so that I can reply and help you.

What this website does when you visit

This website doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers, and it doesn’t set cookies of its own. The Fast Check and Photography notification forms are part of this website, and the page doesn’t load anything from MailerLite. When you send the form, your email address is passed on to MailerLite, which stores it and sends you the Fast Check. To limit abuse, the website’s server briefly keeps a scrambled version of your IP address (about ten minutes) to count how often the form is used.

The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like most web hosts, its servers keep ordinary access logs (for example IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and reliability.

The Online Edition

If you use the online edition of a guide, the ratings and notes you enter stay in your own browser, on your own device. They aren’t sent to me. If you clear your browser data they are lost, and they don’t sync between devices. If you use “Download PDF”, the PDF is created on your device.

Who else handles your information

• MailerLite, for storing email addresses and sending email.
• The payment provider named at checkout, for purchases.
• Hostinger, for hosting this website.

I don’t sell your information.

How long I keep it

Email addresses stay on the list until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Purchase records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to have me stop using it, and you can withdraw your consent to emails at any time. Just write to lookagain@evalafeedback.com. If you live in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
